Optical Flats
We are a major manufacturer of Optical Flats and keep them
in reserve
which can mean next day delivery.
We also recondition and certify our customers Optical Flats with a rapid turn around time and excellent rates.
We manufacture and stock a line of Optical Flats ranging in size from 1” to 14” in diameter. Material is either fused silica or fused quartz. They are provided in custom made Mahogany Boxes with Certification to N.I.S.T. We are happy to discuss your special requests and create those flats to your specifications whether for solid or through-hole applications. If you require up to date certification to N.I.S.T. or need to have your existing optical flats re-conditioned, depending on the evaluated condition of the optical flat, we can accommodate you.

All dimensions are plus or minus .060". If you are working with parts having a matte finish a coating of Titanium Dioxide will enhance the fringe pattern. However, the coating does not in any way protect the surface of the flat nor does it insure longer use before reconditioning. If you are testing parts that have a polished surface; coating is not necessary.
All coated Optical Flats are single surface. |
